A judge has sentenced a trucker to life in prison after he pleaded guilty to 17 first-degree felonies, including sexual assault on at least eight women in Davis County, Utah. Utah junior Dominique Hatfield was charged Thursday with 17 counts of sexual assault of a minor, a first-degree felony punishable by a maximum sentence of life without possibility of parole and a $10,000 fine. If he is released, he will be one step closer to a job, according to his lawyer.
He was wanted on a warrant in Mesquite and has made a motion to arrest O'Leary while his case goes to trial, possibly for trial.
His Texas license could be suspended for probation and he faces a hefty fine that he must pay for several years. He failed to apply for a hearing, but if his Texas lawyer finds he was wrongly charged, he can be sure his case will be dismissed.
A criminal defense attorney ensures that law enforcement authorities respect your legal rights while you are investigated and arrested. Your lawyer can speak to the police and the Crown Prosecution Service on your behalf and ensure that they respect your rights. You can interact and respond to them properly and interact with them in terms of the offence you have committed. On both sides, the case is successfully negotiated and re-evaluated with the prosecutor and your criminal defense attorney.
