In Al-Anon and Alateen we learn individuals are not responsible for another person's disease or recovery from it.\" See website for meeting times.\n\nThe Austin Al-Anon/Alateen Information Center is a nonprofit community effort that serves as a local clearinghouse for information about the Al-Anon/Alateen Program in and around the Austin, Texas, USA area. We have but one purpose: to help families and friends of alcoholics. We do this by providing the following services: We are an Al-Anon Literature Distribution Center providing Al-Anon & Alateen books, pamphlets & other materials to the local community. We provide & maintain the current meeting lists for Austin & the surrounding areas, listing all registered Al-Anon/Alateen meetings. We maintain a telephone answering service staffed by volunteers to help answer phone calls. We maintain an interactive web site as a public outreach to serve communities in Central Texas.
